June 6, 2008 - Smarty Pants

Today Brayden and I made chocolate chip cookies. He wanted to eat the chocolate chips in the worst way but I made him wait until I opened the bag to put them in the dough. As I was putting them in the bowl, a toddler handful of them fell on the table. I told him he could eat whatever was on the table. Me, not thinking left the bag on the table next to him. (Keep in mind I told him he could have what was on the table...) He grabbed the bag and proceeded to dump them on the table then grabbed a fistfull and shoved them in his mouth before I could stop him. That'll teach me!
