Birthday List

Brayden has been adding items to his Birthday list for a couple of months. Today he added "eggnog" to the list...I have no idea why but I find it very funny.

Brayden gets dressed by himself!

I thought this day would never come...Brayden is getting himself dressed in the morning....

...I didn't say he was getting dressed correctly!

World Peace

Today we visited the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon. We saw a lot of fighter jets as well as the Spruce Goose. Brayden asked a lot of questions about why planes got shot down and about war. He seemed a bit perplexed about the fact that planes would shoot at each other. He suggested that the next time there is a war, "other planes with nice people should come around and tell the planes who are fighting that they should work together because working together is nice and fighting is not". I wish he had that same perspective at home with his brother.....

March 1, 2009

This evening while reading Brayden the Planet Heroes comic book: I read "Just because something is old, doesn't mean it's not useful", I then added "just like mom and dad". His reply was "Nooooo, you're not useful!". hmmmm.....what every parent wants to hear.
