Update

Update:
Noah started crawling on November 17th and is exploring the house with his new found freedom. Now our cat has two kids to watch out for, since they both like to chase him!

Just a Funny:
Brayden woke up from his nap and said “I sure want to watch tv.” I asked him how badly he’d like to watch it; his reply was “I want to watch it nicely.” Now how can I turn that down?

Sorry no new photos right now. New photos will be added new week.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Christmas List

Brayden and I wrote his Christmas Wish List today. Here are a couple of his requests (word by word). These are so funny....
-Dinosaurs
-Books about scary things like Wolves, Monsters, Bears, and Dinosaurs
-Big Scary Dinosaur
-Big Scary Scary Scary Dinosaur
-Scary Big Big Big SCARY Dinosaur

A local strip mall had trick or treating in the afternoon while it was still light outside. We took Brayden trick or treating there before going in our neighborhood at night. Brayden actually got tired of Trick or Treating and was ready to come home and check out the loot.

Noah was already in bed sleeping before Trick or Treating started. Mom got to stay home with a book and answer the door.

Pumpking Carving - October 29, 2008

Brayden did a great job helping to carve his own pumpkin. He decided to take a break with the 'poker' stuck in his pumpkins eye....hmmmm.

The Group Photo.

Between the three families, we had 5 boys with us ranging from 10 months old to 11 years old.

Noah, Brayden, and Josh....yes, Brayden appears to be wearing a dress.

Noah looks like he's having a great time, but he's holding on to Rob's hair!

Brayden's First Swim Lesson

Brayden had his first swimming lesson today. There are four children, ages 3-4, who are in his class. He had a great time. At one point he looked up at me in the stands and screamed "Hi Mom!". So cute (and a bit embarrassing)!

Kicking with a kick board.

Learning how to hold breath / blow bubbles.

Privileges Revoked

We went to the library last week. Since Brayden was not listening very well I told him he cannot have computer time while we were there. I said “you’ve lost your computer time". He replied very defiantly “well, I’ll find it!”

Patience is a Virtue

As I was trying to get Brayden changed for bed, he kept wiggling (as usual). I told him "I've lost my patience" and to cooperate. He said "I still have my patience. Where did yours go? When will you get your patience back?" When I told him maybe tomorrow I'll have them back, he said "I want you to have them back now!"

October 2008 - Mt. St. Helens

We gave Brayden a history and Geology lesson by visiting Mt. St. Helens on October 19th. When we told Brayden we were going to go, he asked if fire shoots out of it. Once we got there, we watched a short video that made Brayden want to see it even less. Of course, once he understood that fire is not shooting out of the volanoe, he was very excited.

October 2008 - Family Fun Center

We spent an afternoon at Wilsonville's Family Fun Center with some friends. Unfortunately most of games were for older children. However, Rob and Brayden did take advantage of the bumper boats and had a great time. Noah and I watched and enjoyed the sun!
